AI Visit Scribe

Be present at the visit.
Kiri remembers the rest.

Visit Scribe records your pediatrician visits, preps you with the right questions to ask, and turns every appointment into a clear summary with next steps and reminders — all saved to your child's record.

Kiri Visit Scribe on iPhone during an active recording — a live soundwave and a real-time transcription of what the parent is telling the pediatrician.

Pediatric visits are 15 minutes. You leave with a tired baby and half the information.

You forget the dose. You forget what to watch for. You can't remember if the next visit is at 9 or 12 months. And the questions you meant to ask? You'll remember them tonight at 2 a.m.

Visit Scribe makes sure none of that happens.

How Visit Scribe works

1

Before the visit — Walk in knowing what to ask

Kiri already knows your child. It looks at the upcoming milestone, a recent fever, or a worry you flagged last week — and surfaces the questions to ask before you walk into the exam room. No blank page. No 11 p.m. Googling.

Solves'I have no idea what I should be asking at this visit.'

2

During the visit — Be present, not scribbling

Tap record. Kiri transcribes the whole conversation while you focus on your child. A live checklist keeps your questions in front of you so nothing gets missed. Snap a photo of the rash, the prescription, the dosing chart. And if your pediatrician asks how your baby's been sleeping or eating, share Kiri's reports during the visit.

Solves'I can't take notes with a baby on my lap.' And: 'She asked when the rash started and I had no idea.'

3

After the visit — A recap that actually makes sense

Within minutes, you get a clear summary: what your pediatrician said, what to do next, which medications and the right dose, what to watch for, and when to follow up. In plain language — no jargon. Plus reminders, so the 8 a.m. medication doesn't slip.

Solves'Was it 2.5 mL or 5 mL? Every 4 or 6 hours?'

4

Saved to your child's record — forever

Every visit, every note, every recap is saved to your child's Kiri record. So next time someone asks 'when did this start?' or 'what did the last pediatrician say about it?' — you've got the answer.

Solves'My kid's medical history lives in my camera roll and my memory.'

Every kind of visit — and everything after

Well-checks. Sick visits. ER at 2 a.m. Specialist consultations. Visit Scribe works for all of them.

And it doesn't stop when the visit ends. Kiri sends you reminders to take the medication at the right dose, book the follow-up in three weeks, and watch for the symptoms your pediatrician flagged. Because remembering what the doctor said is only half of it — actually doing it is what matters.

Why Kiri, and not one of the generic visit-recording apps

It’s pediatric-first

Kin, Medcorder, and Abridge are built for generic adult visits. Visit Scribe is tuned to the pediatric visit — well-check cadence, age-specific questions, dose calculators, developmental context.

It already knows your child

Every other app starts from zero at each visit. Kiri already has your child's sleep, feeds, growth, and milestones — so it can suggest the right questions and share reports mid-visit.

It loops with your child’s record

Visits feed forward into the next one. Symptom timelines, medication history, and growth trends become a continuous story instead of disconnected events.

Built with your privacy in mind

Built with pediatricians and pediatric specialists

HIPAA-aligned by policy — encrypted in transit and at rest

Recorded only when you tap — nothing is recorded by default

Your child's record stays in your account. You control sharing.

Common questions

Is it legal to record my pediatrician visit?

Recording laws vary by state. In most states, one-party consent (yours) is enough. In eleven states, you need your pediatrician's permission. We recommend asking your pediatrician at the start of every visit — most support recording because it leads to better follow-through on the care plan.

What if my pediatrician doesn't want to be recorded?

You can still use Visit Scribe to prep questions before the visit and take notes and photos during. Recording is one-tap opt-in — nothing is recorded by default.

Does it work in a noisy waiting room or ER?

Yes. Visit Scribe is optimized for real clinical environments — pediatric offices, urgent care, and ER visits. Transcription quality is highest when the phone is held near the pediatrician, but the recording captures the whole conversation.

How is Visit Scribe different from Kin or Medcorder?

Kin and Medcorder are built for generic adult visits. Visit Scribe is built for the pediatric visit specifically — question banks tuned to well-check ages, dose calculators, developmental context — and everything feeds into your child's Kiri record.

Is Visit Scribe free?

Yes. Visit Scribe is included in Kiri free while we finalize our freemium model.

What happens to my recording and transcript?

Recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in your child's Kiri record. You control who sees them. Kiri is HIPAA-aligned by policy.
